I loved the adult only and size of this resort.  The service was excellent and offered a personal touch.  The rooms are spacious and modern.  The food was top notch with a lot attention paid to the smallest detail.  The resort is located on a golf course, across the street from the other Bahia Pricipe Resorts, therefore a shuttle is required to get to the beach, restaurants and other amenties that are included with this resort.  The shuttles ran frequently to anywhere in the complex.

What an amazing experience.  We began in London, and travelled to Amsterdam, Germany, Switzerland and Paris.  Every destination offered distinct, memorable features.  We toured around on our own in London, taking the tube to the different sights we wanted to see such as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace.   In Amsterdam, we took a Canal cruise, wandered through the narrow alleyways and visited the floating flower market.  Before departing Holland, we stopped at Kuekenof Gardens to see an explosion of colour and varieties of tulips, hyachinths and orchids.  Our journey continued through Germany, with a portion taking a cruise along the Rhine seeing vinyards and castles dotting the hillside.  The next stop was in a charming village of Fluelen set in the beautiful Swiss Alps, on the shores of picturesque Lake Lucerne.  We took a rotating cable car up 10,000 feet to the top of Mount Titlis.  From Switzerland, we drove through the countryside of France, with our final destination being Paris.  We saw the main hightlights of the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumphe and Notre Dame.   There is so much to see and do and I hope to return to all the destinations on future vacations.

Iceland is a unique destination that offers a dynamic landscape unlike few other places in the world.  While there, I toured volcanic fields on an ATV and spent the afternoon soaking in the Blue Lagoon.  I also took the Golden Circle Tour which showed blowing geysirs and the continental divide.  A day long tour from Reyjavik stopped at plunging waterfalls, volcanoes and offered a cruise on glacier lake where blue iceburgs floated down from the glaciers.  The capital city of Reyjavik has wonderful restaurants, quaint pubs, art gallerys, museums and lots of gift shops.  I recommend everyone to visit Iceland at least once in their lifetime.

Due to the size of Sandals Royal Bahamian, all restaurants, activities and services were easily accessible, which I really like.   The buffet and a la carte restaurants offer a delicious variety of food and friendly professional service.  Right outside the resort was a bus stop that for 2.50 would take you into Nassau.   I found touring around very easy and enjoyable.

The Fairmont Chateau Laurier is steeped in history that can be found strolling the corridors.  The room we stayed in was massive with vaulted ceilings and all the modern amenites.  We toured around Ottawa, visiting the Parliment buildings and the Canadian War Museum, strolled the Byward Market, dined at a variety of eateries offered in the city and had a laugh at Yuk Yuk's.   

A casual resort that recently had extensive renovations.  Enjoyed golf lessons and strolled along the beach and watched the locals haul in their catch of fish.

The Residence Inn by Marriott offers a convenient location across the street from a huge shopping area and close to the subway.  The rooms were comfortable and included the convenience of a full kitchen.  We went to the President's Cup Golf Tournament to watch the top 12 US and 12 International golfers compete in an exciting head to head charitable match between the two teams.  We also visited the Biodome and strolled through old Montreal at night.

Visited the Parthenon on the Acroplis overlooking Athens.  Browsed the shops in the Plaka.  Toured many hotels in the Athens area and ate at a variety of restaurants. Cruised to Patmos where I toured the Cave of the Apocolypse ... then on to Rhodes and Mykonos and finally Kusadasi which I toured the ancient ruins of Ephesus and the House of the Virgin Mary. 

This was my first time on an escorted coach tour.  I found myself very quickly being grateful for having all the details organized for me.  All I needed to do was relax and enjoy the journey prepared for me.  Our tour began in Rome, where we visited the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica.  The tour also included the Colosseum, however, my friend and I got lost in the crowd and missed it.  There was a drive by, at night, later on in the tour, which was spectacular.  The tour continued on towards Florence; stopping in little towns and villages along the way.  In Florence, we had a city tour and visited the Uffizi Gallery; also did a little shopping for leather goods.  The journey continued to Venice.  It is all I imagined it would be, historic and romantic.  The conclusion of the tour took us back to Rome with stops at Pisa to see the Leaning Tower and Assisi.  Italy is definitely a destination that once you go, you will want to return again and again.
