Fort Myers has wide, fine sand beaches where you can enjoy the sunshine and watch the sunset.  There are a lot of choices for accommodation; something for everyone’s budget and needs.  I saw the Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina where all rooms will have a kitchenette or full kitchen. This is where I saw a dolphin swimming in the distance.  The Outrigger Beach Resort is a smaller value property with comfortable hotel style rooms or larger rooms with kitchenettes.  The Polynesian Tiki bar at their beach offers live music daily.   Fort Myers has a laid back feeling that makes you want come back again! If you enjoy shopping, then you should head to the Miromar Outlet where there are more the 140 top designer and brand name outlet stores.  If you are looking for historical sites and beautifully landscaped grounds, I would recommend a tour at the Edison & Fort Winter Estates. On your way to Sanibel Island, you should eat at The Island Cow  for some really good food and fun atmosphere.  If you enjoy fishing, you might want to bring along your fishing pole. You might even catch a Flounder.  Now that you’re at Sanibel Island, you could stay at the Tween Water Inn Island Resort. While in Orlando I went to Sea World, where they not only give you the opportunity to see the animals, but they also have some pretty thrilling looking roller coasters.  Universal Studios was the high light for me, but one day there was just enough!  I would definitely recommend the Unlimited Express Pass. For accommodation in Orlando you could stay at the Windosr at Westide Resort in Kissimmee about 30 minutes away from Walt Disney.  These can be 8 bedroom fully furnished homes with a pool.  The Sheraton Vistana Villages is about 15 minutes away from Walt Disney and offers spacious apartments and an outdoor water park.  The Doubletree by Hilton Orlando at Sea World is within walking distance to Sea World.  It offers benefits to Sea World like front of the line, free rescue tour, shuttle and priority entry on select days.

I enjoyed my stay at the Riu Tropical Palace Negril as it's not a huge resort and easy enough to find everything they offer. The rooms are nice size and having an ocean view makes the room even better.  The beach is long and fairly wide and a great location to watch the fabulous sunsets.   The restaurants were all very good you didn't need to make reservations for the a la cartes as they had the beepers.  The jerk chicken shack by the beach was really good for lunch.  The best meals were in the back of the buffet area where they had fresh seafood that was made any way you wanted for lunch. After being in Negril I was off to Montego Bay and the Secrets Wild Orchid an adults only property.  I stayed in a preferred club ocean view rooms which had a wonderful view of the bay and the private beach.  Found the staff very friendly helpful.  Enjoyed all of the restaurants but found the buffet breakfast area a little crowed.  The jerk chicken cart was really good and the fresh coconut water. There were a lot of activates throughout the resort in the day and evening.     

Haven't been to Mazatlán in about 20 years and it didn't seem like the resorts changed in that time along the Golden Zone.  A lot of the resorts now are all inclusive or offer an all-inclusive plan.  I stayed in a junior suite which had a kitchenette, large bathroom, sofa bed and two beds.  This is time share property but they don't bother you once they know you aren't interested.  It wasn't very busy in April but the water was warm enough to go in and the waves were fun.  There is only the one pool and lobby bar so probably pretty busy in high season.  The sand is a darker brown color but it does have finer sand so you don't need to wear beach shoes, a great beach for long walks
