The Riu Palace Macao is a adults only resort, located right on one the of best beaches in Punta Cana, ( Macao Beach).  The resort has 364  rooms with 24 hours room service, good food in the buffet restaurant, along with great food and service at  the  a la carte restaurants.  The rooms are nice, and there are a lot of palm trees and shrubs around the resort.  The resort has many activities, with a great pool, and swim up bar.  The beach is beautiful, with a walking trail or jogging trail.  You could sit at the pool side, turn your foot, and plant your foot on the sand of their beach.  Then walk about 20 feet,  towards the water,,,then the jogging path was there, then walk another 20 feet to the ocean.  This resort can accommodate wheelchairs, with ramps going into bars , rooms and restaurants.   ( and that walking trail which is paved is helpful for clients with mobility issues.. to take them down to the beach!!) The  Riu Palace Macao is only approx. 1/2 hour from the airport,  so great for the traveller who wants to land at the airport and get on the beach in no time at all!!  The resort also has great excursions that you can arrange at the front desk, or tour desk located in the lobby...  I would travel to this resort again... The staff there were amazing, the evening entertainment was good... and the location is great.

Beachfront location in the Mayan Riviera within 50 minutes from Cancun airport. The newly renovated resort has 507 rooms, 4 specialty restaurants, 5 bars (including 2 swim up bars), great entertainment and a nice beach to walk on (you can also walk to the town of Playa Del Carmen in about 40 minutes). There is lot of activities to do and you can use the other RIU properties in the area. From sipping on a nice cool drink or enjoying a massage on the beach, this resort has a lot to offer.

We travelled to Bahamas in April 2011, and this was our 3rd trip there.  We love the Breezes Bahamas and we are repeat clients.  We love the people, the food and the area that the resort is located in. Bahamas is a beautiful island and we feel very safe there.  Breezes Bahamas is adults only (14 years and above) on Cable Beach and a quick ride from the airport. It has 391 rooms with 4 restaurants (3 a la carte, 1 buffet, 4 bars, 3 pools, fitness centre and spa). A smaller resort that offers good service with many repeat guests. Nightly entertainment is great. One of the few all inclusive resorts in Bahamas.
